A message from Safe Passage…

Last month, we asked members of the House of Lords to vote in favour of an amendment led by Lord Dubs to the Refugee Ban Bill… and they did! We couldn’t have done it without your support.

We’re so happy to share that the amendment passed – 185 members of the Lords voted for the amendment, and 133 against it.

The amendment seeks to keep unaccompanied children’s right to asylum. Children need the right to have a fair hearing on their asylum application, to live in safety with family, and have a chance of building a new life in the UK.
