Home Office criticised for not housing asylum seekers properly as hotel costs mount

From The Santé Project’s experience, our Service Users have been treated appallingly in government provided accommodation, including cases of assault by other residents, as well as being arrested and kept in remand instead of being offered treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder, for example. One of our Service Users has even been awarded compensation by a charity for the appalling food provided…hostile environment is right!
